Understanding Error Code 225: Account is Frozen in Synthetix Cloud
What Error 225 Means
The Account is Frozen (225) error occurs when a user has attempted to log in too many times with incorrect login details.
When this happens, your account will be temporarily frozen for a set period. You will also receive an email informing you that your account has been frozen and how long it will remain locked.
How to Resolve Error 225
You have a few options to restore access:
- Wait for the lockout to expire – once the freeze period ends, you can try logging in again.
- Contact your system administrator – usually your manager, who can manually unfreeze your account to let you log in immediately.
- Reset your password – if you have forgotten your password, use the “Reset Password” option on the login screen.
- Request a password reset via admin – your administrator can send a password reset link to your email through the admin section in Synthetix Cloud.
