Understanding Error Code 113: Expired Token in Synthetix Cloud

What Error 113 Means

The Expired Token (113) error appears when your account is no longer authenticated with the system. In other words, your session has ended and your login token is invalid.

This can occur for several reasons:

  • Inactivity timeout – your account was automatically logged out after being idle.
  • Manual logout – you signed out yourself.
  • Administrator action – an admin ended your session.
  • Forced logout – your account was removed or disconnected from the system.

How to Resolve Error 113

The fix is straightforward — simply log back in to start a new session.

  1. Go to the login page for Synthetix Cloud or your application.
  2. Enter your username and password.
  3. If prompted, complete any additional authentication steps (e.g. two-factor authentication).
  4. You’ll then be issued a new valid token and can continue working.

When to Contact Your Administrator

If your session expires unusually often or you are logged out unexpectedly, contact your system administrator. They can confirm whether:

  • An administrator has manually ended your session.
  • There are account or system-level issues affecting your access.
