What Error 309 Means
The Invalid View (309) error appears when a user or operator attempts to open an article they do not have permission to view.
In Synthetix, a view is a structured grouping of articles. If an article is assigned to a particular view, but your account lacks access to that view, the system will return error 309.
How to Resolve Error 309
You cannot fix this directly yourself. Please contact your system administrator to adjust your user permissions.
- Identify the article you were trying to access.
- Contact your system administrator (for Synthetix Cloud, this may be your line manager).
- Ask them to assign the relevant view to your user account.
- Retry accessing the article once the permission has been updated.
